Laubscher Services P/L a family run enterprise was initially registered as a Building & Maintenance contracting company in November of 1996. After many successful years in the trade we stumbled across an opportunity that held a hidden gem, a small water bottling factory that had ignited a passion and thus LS Waters was established in 2007.

Since then, LS Waters has experienced significant growth, expanding both our product range and service offerings to better serve our customers. We recently opened a new branch at 178 ED Mnangagwa Road, located in Paddington Square, and we are excited to announce plans for additional branches by the end of 2025.

ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS
Our core business began with production and distribution of still water in unit sizes of 500ML, 5L, 20L and 25L with the mindset to offer both our commercial and private clients a wide range of services and support for all aspects of drinking water. During 2017, 2018 we diversified our product range further from our Premium Still purified water and introduced our Premium Plain Sparkling Water and De-Ionized Water. LS Waters was the first company in Zimbabwe to locally produce a Sparkling Water brand and introduce it into the local market.
Our bulk water source is Registered for water extraction and is continually monitored and inspected by the Ministry of Water, Upper Manyame Sub Catchment & Zinwa Ground Water along with monthly records and Water Quality Analysis reports that are carried out to ensure that you as the consumer receive the safest Quality water in Zimbabwe.

WHO WE ARE
The Directors of our company are proud Zimbabwean citizens, born and educated in Zimbabwe. Mr. J.J Laubscher (Jim) brings with him 10 years of experience in commercial banking management with Barclays Bank of Zimbabwe Ltd, now known as First Capital Bank, along with 2 years of legal expertise and 30 years of personal business experience. Mr. J.K Laubscher (Josh) joined our company as the operations manager in 2008 and was appointed as Managing Director in April 2016, a position he still holds today.
In 2015, we welcomed Anita Laubscher, Josh's wife, as our Marketing Manager. Her arrival has brought about a revolution in our brand image and marketing strategy, propelling us forward in the market.
The personal stability, extensive experience, strong values, and unwavering family bond of our directors have been instrumental in ensuring the success and survival of our business operations, even amidst challenging economic conditions in Zimbabwe. With their continued vision and foresight, we are confident in our ability to achieve growth and a prosperous future for LS Waters, our esteemed consumers, and our corporate partners.

OUR CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
Throughout our years of operation, LS Waters has remained deeply committed to supporting and sponsoring numerous charitable initiatives and worthy causes within our community. Through the proceeds of our Bulk and Purified Water operations, we have proactively invested in efforts that create meaningful, lasting impact.
Our contributions span a broad range of community-focused projects, including the rehabilitation of roads, maintenance of electrical substations, and assistance with refuse collection. We’ve also taken responsibility for the preservation of surrounding wetlands, recognizing their ecological significance. Among our most notable initiatives is the daily provision of free drinking water to those in need—an effort that included supplying City Council buildings and local clinics during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2019, we extended our support even further by donating thousands of liters of drinking water to communities affected by Cyclone Idai. Additionally, we have rehabilitated and illuminated Metcalf Road street lights which are powered by LS Waters ZESA connection and back up power solutions, enhancing safety and accessibility for residents as part of our ongoing corporate social responsibility.
